About Pickleball

The basics

A game usually takes 10 - 20 minutes and players participate in recreational sessions for 2 to 3 hours.

The game starts with the serving team sending the ball over the net.
The ball must bounce once on each side of the court before volleying can occur.
Both teams aim to be at the net where the game is centred around short sharp volleys and strategic soft drop shots.
Fault or miss the ball resulting the serving team loses the serve or scores a point.
The first team to reach 11 points (and 2 points ahead) wins the game.
